Piriton tablets are drowsy antihistamines that treat hay fever and other allergy symptoms. Each tablet contains 4mg of chlorphenamine maleate, a first-generation antihistamine that blocks histamine, the substance responsible for allergy symptoms like itching, swelling and a runny nose.
